Wiki and Page Visitor IP Tracker and Statistics Installation Guide
If you have a Wikispaces site or profile made with Wikispaces.com, you may be interested in seeing who visits your wiki pages, and in your wiki website's visitor traffic statistics. Simply follow these simple steps to install an IP hit counter on your Wikispaces site or profile to keep a detailed track of your page views and analytics:
Go to fraudLog.com and sign up for a website visitor tracking account
Log in to your new web / wiki tracking account, go to "My Projects", click on the "Add New Project" link, and select a tracker ( all styles function the same way )
Enter your website's public web address ( e.g., example.wikispaces.com ) into the "Website URL" box and enter the name of your Wikispace into the "Title" area
Select "Wikispaces" from the tracker "Code Type" drop down menu while generating your fraudLog code. Click on the "Get Code" button to create your new wiki tracker
Right click on and copy your new Wikispaces JavaScript / HTML visitor tracking code
Enable visitor tracking on your Wikispaces.com profile
Go to "My Account" and click on "Edit your profile"
Click on the "Widget" button. Select "Other HTML", and paste your code into the box. Save your changes
Preview and make sure the tracker now shows up on your profile
If you are a premium fraudLog user, you can follow this step to hide the tracker icon
Enable visitor tracking on your Wikispaces site
Go to "My Wikis" and select the wiki you want to enable tracking on
For every page that you want to keep track of, edit it, click on the "Widget" button. Select "Other HTML", and paste your code into the box. Save your changes
Preview and make sure the tracker now shows up once on all the pages you wanted to track
If you are a premium fraudLog user, you can follow this step to hide the tracker icon
