Lycos Angelfire Website Statistics and Visitor IP Tracking
Website Statistics and Visitor IP Tracking Easy Installation Guide
If you have made a website using Lycos Network Angelfire, you may be interested in seeing who goes on your website and in monitoring your website's visitors. Simply follow these simple instructions to quickly set up tracking on your Angelfire.com or custom domain website.
Go to fraudLog.com and sign up for a website visitor tracking account
Log in to your new tracking account, go to "My Projects", and click on the "Add New Project" link. Select one of the web trackers ( all styles function the same way )
Enter your Angelfire site's public address ( e.g., http://example.angelfire.com ) into the "Website URL", and give your project an appropriate title
If you have a free Angelfire account, select "Angelfire - Free" from the "Code Type" drop-down menu. If you have a premium account, select "Angelfire - Premium". This will determine if you can use the JavaScript code on your site, which supports additional features such as search engine keywords. Then, click on the "Get Code" button
Right-click on and copy your new Angelfire HTML or JavaScript visitor tracking code
Now, log in to your account on angelfire.lycos.com. Click "Edit" next to the site that you want to edit
Click on "Add-ons" at the top, then click on "Next" to see the next page of add-ons, and drag the "Custom HTML" box to the sidebar, or wherever you want your tracker to be placed
Edit the new widget box, and paste your fraudLog.com tracking code into the dialog. Save your changes
Publish your website and verify that the tracker now shows up once. Repeat this process for any other pages or websites you want to track
If you are a premium fraudLog subscriber, you can make the tracker icon on your website invisible by following this simple step
