Wordpress.com Visitor IP Tracker Installation Guide
If you setup your blog under www.wordpress.com and use wordpress.com to host your blog,then follow the steps below. If you host the wordpress files yourself, then scroll down for the next guide.
Register your web visitor tracking account at fraudLog.com
Login to your account and click on "Add New Project" menu item
Enter your Wordpress full page address and name your project
Select "Wordpress.com" from the tracker drop down menu while generating your fraudLog code
Right click on code to copy your new Wordpress.com JavaScript / HTML visitor tracking code
Login to your Wordpress.com account and click on the "Design" and then on "Widgets" tab
Scroll down until you see the "Text" widget and click on "Add" link to add the text widget to your blog
On the right, under the "Current Widgets" section, you'll see the "Text" tab. Click on the "Edit" link on that tab
Paste your fraudLog code into the lower section of the text box
Click on the "Save Changes" button below the text box Verify that the tracker now shows up on all pages of your Wordpress Blog
If you host wordpress files yourself on your own webspace and your your own domain address,then follow the steps below.
Register your web visitor tracking account at fraudLog.com
Login to your account and click on "Add New Project" menu item
Enter your Wordpress full page address and name your project
Select "Wordpress - self-hosted, your domain" from the tracker drop down menu while generating your fraudLog code
Right click on code to copy your new Wordpress.com JavaScript visitor tracking code
Login to your FTP space where you host your wordpress files, and locate your themes folder, that's generally located at /public_html/wp-content/themes/YOUR_THEME_FOLDER/
Open the header.php or footer.php file. If your blog has a lot of content on each page, we suggest that you install the tracker code into the header.php file. Insert your tracker code where you'd like it to appear withing the footer or header, but after the opening and before the closing body tags Save and upload your modified file
Verify that the tracker now shows up on all pages of your Wordpress Blog
