Website Tonight InstantPage GoDaddy.com JavaScript Visitor IP Tracker and Statistics
With website page builder “Website Tonight” by GoDadddy.com, you can integrate the advanced tools from fraudLog, such as IP visitor tracker, Link Tracker, and Page Tracker and access controller.
To install a website visitor IP tracker and statistics module into your existing pages, follow these steps:
If you haven’t already, to fraudLog.com and sign up for a website visitor tracking
Login to your Website Tonight by GoDaddy.com account
Click on “My Account” tab in the upper right corner
Under “Products” tab, click on the “Website Tonight® / InstantPage®”
Click on the “Options” button for the website you need to edit
In the popup window, click on the “Launch Control Center” button
Click on the “Site” tab if it’s not already highlighted
Hover your mouse over the “Design” menu and select “Launch Page Designer”
Within the editor window, select the page where you’d like to place the tracker from the drop down menu in the upper right block. Click on the “Insert” tab and then on the “Script” button. A popup window will open. Paste your fraudLog tracker code into the window and then click on the OK button. Now you will see a white “Script” icon appear on your web page. Click somewhere outside of your page to deselect the current script module, and then move your mouse pointer over the “Script” icon to be able to move it. Move the “Script” icon closer to the top of the page, so that it detects the visitors as soon as they enter your website. Repeat this step for each web page of your website. It’s important that the tracker is placed on ALL pages of your website.
When the tracker is placed on all pages, click on the “Publish” button in the right upper corner to complete your “Website Tonight” webpage updating procedure.
To confirm a proper tracker installation, navigate through your website, and check that the tracker icon is now showing on ALL pages where you have placed it.
You have now installed the visitor tracker on your “Website Tonight” web pages. To install a Page Tracker to be able to control visitor access to your pages, simply follow the steps above and install your Page Tracker code on the pages that you need to control. The Page Tracker code must be installed at the very top of each page in order to work properly, and above the Visitor Tracker code.
