Blog and Profile Visitor Statistics IP Tracker Installation Guide
If you have a blog on Blog.com, you may be wondering who views your blog pages and who visits your Blog.com profile. Simply follow these steps to install an analytics tracking counter on your Blog.com account:
Sign up for a web visitor tracking account at fraudLog.com
Log in to your newly created account, go to "My Projects", click on "Add New Project", and select a tracker style
Enter your Blog.com profile's web address ( e.g., http://USERNAME.blog.com ) and name your project accordingly
Select "Blog.com" from the tracker type drop-down menu. Note that Blog.com does not allow embedding JavaScript code. Therefore some features like keyword detection and referrer links will not work when tracking Blog.com. All other fraudLog functions will work as designed
Click on "Get Code". Right-click on and copy your new Blog HTML visitor tracking code
Log in to Blog.com and go to your dashboard
On the sidebar on the left, click on "Appearance" and then on "Widgets"
Drag a new Text/HTML counter to your sidebar on the right. Paste your tracking code into the box that shows up and save your changes
Verify that the tracker now shows up on your Blog.com site
