TypePad Blog Visitor Counter and Tracker
TypePad lets you easily create and manage different types of blogs. If you have a TypePad account, you may be wondering how you can track who visits your blog or website, in order to analyze your visitor traffic and even track ad conversions. Simply follow the steps below to set up tracking on your TypePad blogs:
Go to fraudLog.com and register for a new Website Visitor Tracking service account
Sign in to your fraudLog account. Select "My Projects", choose "Add New Project", and select any one of the different counters and tracking widgets. All styles or types will collect the same tracking information
Enter your TypePad blog's web address ( e.g., username.typepad.com/your-blog ) and give an appropriate name for your project
Select "TypePad" from the list of code types and continue
Next, select and copy your new JavaScript+HTML-based TypePad blog tracking code
Log in to your TypePad account and edit the blog that you'd like to enable tracking on
Select the "Design" tab on the blog toolbar at the top of the page
Under Categories, click on "Widget". Then, select "Embed your own HTML" and click on the "Add this module" button
Give a name for the widget, such as fraudLog, and paste your tracking code into the box
Save your changes and view your blog to make sure your tracker now appears in the sidebar
Repeat steps 7-10 for each blog that you want to track
