First, follow the prerequisite instructions below. Then continue with the steps in the appropriate section to enable your Ning counter.
Go to fraudLog.com, and sign up for a Website Visitor Tracker account

Continue with one of the sets of steps below
Ning Profile
All users of Ning have a profile page. No matter what type of Ning.com user you are, you can enable visitor tracking on your page, and view who visits your Ning profile. Simply follow these instructions:
Log in to the Ning.com network in which you have a profile you'd like to track
Click on your bolded name at the top right of the page. You should now be at your profile page
Under your profile photo on the left, click on "Add Apps" to visit the My Apps Directory
Into the search box, type in "text" and click on the search icon
For the app titled "My Text Box", click on "Add to My Apps Page". Confirm "Add App" in the dialog
Click on "Back to My Page"
Drag the "My Text Box" and position it to where you want it to be - probably somewhere near the bottom of the page
Click on "Edit" on your new "My Text Box". Paste your generated JavaScript/HTML counter or tracking code into the box
Verify that the tracker now shows up on your "My Page"
Please note: If you are an administrator of a Ning Network, and want to track your profile separately, you must make sure that you are using different web tracking projects for the profile and your network.
Ning Mini Home Page
If you have a Ning Mini subscription, you are not allowed to use the specially designed "Custom Code" module. You will instead have to follow these alternative instructions:
Log in to the Ning network on which you want to install the counter or visitor watcher
Click on "Manage My Network" at the top of the page
Under "Settings" on the right, select "Features Layout"
Drag and drop a "Text Box" widget to the rightmost column, under the username widget. Save your changes
Go back to your Ning.com homepage. Click on the "Edit" button on your new text widget
Type in a name. Then paste your new JavaScript/HTML code into the box's content. Save your changes
Verify that the tracker now shows up on your homepage
You may want to track other pages of your site. Unfortunately, this is not feasible for users of Ning Mini. For example, you might want to see who visits your blogs. This isn't possible for two reasons. The first is that enabling tracking on blogs would trigger the duplicate tracker error and prevent any visits from being logged. The second is that Ning's blogs cache the tracker, rendering the logging of unique visitors useless
Ning Plus and Ning Pro Analytics
If you have a Ning Plus or Ning Pro subscription, it is very easy to track all of the pages on your website, hassle-free. Simply follow these easy instructions to set up a visitor tracker on your Ning.com site:
Log in to the Ning network on which you want to install the counter or visitor watcher
Click on "Manage My Network" at the top of the page
Under "Tools" on the right, select "Custom Code"
Paste your new JavaScript/HTML code into the input box and save your changes
Verify that the tracker now shows up on all pages throughout your Ning.com site
