 Website Visits Statistics and Web Counter Installation Guide

If you have a site made with Homestead (SiteBuilder Plus), you may be wondering how you can see your website's visitor traffic.  If you have an online store, a personal website, or a business or charity website made with Homestead.com, follow these steps to install a web counter on your site.  This will allow you to track your Homestead website's customers and visitors.

  1. First off, go to fraudLog.com and sign up for a website visitor tracking account

  2. Log in to your account, go to "My Projects", click on the "Add New Project" link, and select one of the web trackers (all styles function the same

  3. Enter your website's public address and name your project appropriately

  4. While generating your fraudLog code, select "Homestead" from the code type drop-down menu

  5. Right-click on and copy your new Homestead JavaScript/HTML visitor tracking code

  6. Log in to your Homestead account.  Find and edit the website on which you want to enable tracking

  7. Open up a page that want to track.  Under the "Content" menu, select "HTML" to add an HTML box to the currently opened page.  Move it to where you want the tracker to be located
              

  8. Click on the "Enter or Paste HTML" button in the sidebar.  Paste your tracking code into the box, click "Ok", and save the page
              

  9. Copy your new HTML box using the Edit panel at the top.  Now, for every page that you want to track, paste the HTML box and move it to where you want it to be

  10. Publish your website, preview it, and verify that the tracker now shows up on all your pages
