When you check your AdSense / AdWords logs, you see significantly higher hits counts then you see on your fraudLog logs.
Here are the things to check:
- Ensure that your website visitor tracker code is installed in the header of the website, before all content is loaded or right after the opening <body> tag.
- Ensure that the website visitor tracker code is installed on ALL of your landing pages where AdSense / AdWords bring you the traffic. The best location for the fraudLog tracker code is in the header of the website that propagates through ALL the pages of your website.
- Check that the tracker shows up on ALL pages of your website, otherwise you will be missing the tracker data. You may need to “unhide” the tracker first to see if it shows up on all pages of your website.
Please note that the lower hit counts could be due to the fact that the system filters out artificial clicks that could be produced by indexing bots and scripts. Refer to this article for more info: Low number of website visitors is detected by website visitor tracker
